Extension and Alterations to The Meapa Gymnastics Club, Gravesend Kent.

This North West Kent based Gymnastics Club had outgrown it's existing facilities due to the growing demand for membership and needed to develop the facility to be able to offer a greater range of classes to a broader group. Primarily dedicated to Women's Artistic Gymnastics the club wanted to offer Men's Artistic Gymnastics to it's discipline.

The existing facility is housed within a traditional industrial shed. The proposal is to double the size of the building by extending on to two sides of the Gymnasium. The double height Main Gym Hall will be extended to provide an additional sprung floor, tumble track, and will include associated Men's Gymnastic equipment. A two storey extension to the front of the building will house all the ancillary functions including a larger Reception, Waiting Area, Changing and Toilet facilities, Offices, Meeting Room, a Multi-purpose Dance Studio, a Tea Area, Storage spaces and Viewing Gallery. The new facility will be fully accessible with a lift serving the upper floor.

The extension to the Main Hall will generally match the existing whilst new modern materials will be used to bring natural daylight into the large space and the front extension without losing the need for privacy. The whole building will be transformed to being light and airy with a new contemporary look.

Sound Proof Extension to Bungalow in Orpington , Kent .

Proposals included the design of a sound proofed room completely isolated from the external construction to minimise the extent of noise vibrations within the space, primarily with regards to low frequency noise. The inner room was acoustically insulated and included double door construction normally associated with recording studio technology. The development of the design involved working with specialists to overcome the noise intrusions. Involvement and consultation with specialist manufacturers was essential to ensure that the right products were specified. Works are currently on site.

Various Domestic Extensions

We have carried out various domestic extensions involving obtaining Planning Consent and Building Regulation Approval for Clients who wish to Project Manage the construction process themselves or indeed hand over to a builder to carry out the construction works. Educational Projects

We have prepared design/working drawings and obtained Building Control Approval for a small extension to a Primary School in Surrey. Works are currently on site.

New-Build Residential

We have prepared concept design drawings for a substantial 5 bedroom detached residence, including guest bedroom all with en-suite accommodation, Study, Library in addition to the normal living accommodation, staff quarters, Swimming Pool, Ancillary Summerhouse Pavilion and Garaging for a client in Ghana.
